Adapted from well-known Midde Eastern fiction Sinbad the Sailor, the play depicts the story of the protagonist, Sinbad. According to the original story, Sinbad leaves his town, Basrah, in Iraq and [!]s with many adventures during his seven voyages throughout the seas east of Africa and south of Asia. The Iranian stage narration of Sinbad features the adventures of the title character who enters a temple protected by a sphinx. Directed by Fatemeh Souzangar and Mohammad Babaei, the play will be staged with [!]r puppets along with the traditional Iranian music.
