The sensor is not sensitive to the pH of the environment and it can be used at all pH values, including physiologic pH. It has many applications in clinics and hospitals to diagnose the disease.
Heparin plays an important role in the clotting of blood, and its performance depends on its concentration in the blood. Therefore, it is highly important to measure the amount of this material in blood plasmon in patients who suffer from cardiovascular illnesses.

You'll Need: A few round, glass jars in varying sizes and widths, a sheet of metal screen as shown above (found at most hardware stores), wire cutters, yarn, scissors, gloves.
Note: Wear gloves to keep your hands safe while working with sheet metal. Not responsible for missing fingers.
Measure the height of each glass and add about 1". Then measure around the circumference of your glass jars and add 2". Cut your metal screen along the straight lines to avoid sharp points (sharp points shown above). Make sure to measure twice and cut once!
Once your metal screen is cut, wrap it around your jar to be sure it's the right size. The ends should overlap about 1".
Choose yarn (or twine) in your favorite color and start at the bottom of the overlap and tie a knot. Wrap your yarn through three times

Iran Building 8 Mini-RefineriesIran has made the necessary plans for the construction of eight small and medium-sized gas condensate refineries by Iranian engineers in Assaluyeh which houses the giant offshore South Pars gas field on the rims of the Persian Gulf.
The refineries will contribute to converting nearly 500,000 b/d of gas condensate to products of high economic value.

‘Sound of My Foot’ picks up top award at Chinese film festival

Iranian movie The Sound of My Foot directed by Mehrdad Khoshbakht has received top prize at the 12th China International Children’s Film Festival.
The film scooped the Best Screenwriting Award that was dedicated to its writers Mehrdad Khoshbakht and Babak Kaydan at the festival’s closing ceremony held on September 14, 2013.
The Sound of My Foot was presented at the International Competition section of the festival.
Wolf Children by Mamoru Hosuda from Japan won the Award for Best Animated Feature while the Award for Best Children’s Feature went to Cool Kids Don’t Cry by Dennis Bots from Belgium.
Khoshbakht’s screen creation, The Sound of My Foot recounts the story of a 13-year- old runner who lost his foot after stepping on a landmine but he tries to continue as a successful runner with an artificial foot.

Iranian puppet play to compete at French theater festival

Iranian theater troupe Darvak is slated to perform a puppet play titled Sinbad at the 2013 Charleville-Mezieres International Puppet Theater Festival in France.
Adapted from well-known Midde Eastern fiction Sinbad the Sailor, the play depicts the story of the protagonist, Sinbad.
According to the original story, Sinbad leaves his town, Basrah, in Iraq and [!]s with many adventures during his seven voyages throughout the seas east of Africa and south of Asia.
The Iranian stage narration of Sinbad features the adventures of the title character who enters a temple protected by a sphinx.
Directed by Fatemeh Souzangar and Mohammad Babaei, the play will be staged with [!]r puppets along with the traditional Iranian music.
Some 90 plays from different countries have participated in the festival to showcase their cultures and myths.
